A distinctive antique Edwardian Suffragette brooch featuring three over lapping chain droppers decorated with Pearls, Amethysts and a central Peridot. Suffragette jewellery was worn to show ones allegiance to the womens Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope. The piece is a wonderfully unique design all set in 15ct Yellow Gold. Weighs 2.5 grams. It measures 35mm across x 25mm down. The Peridot dropper measures 10mm across x 5mm down.
